Grandpa and Junior

( ´ω`) hello kids! (・∀・) Grandpa, what was life like before the internet? ( ´ω`) We used to read books! You know what a book is, right? It's a nonvolatile storage medium! (・∀・) Grandpa, where do babies come from? ( ´ω`) Ask your mother. (・∀・) Grandpa, what is tanasinn? ( ´ω`) Don't think, feel. That's tanasinn. (・∀・) Grandpa, what is "time"? (・∀・) Grandpa, what happened to Grandma? ( ´ω`) Time is what happened to Grandma. sigh

Grandpa and Junior are two characters from Channel4 BBS's /dqn/ board. In "Grandpa threads", Junior (・∀・) asks a question, and Grandpa ( ´ω`) does his best to answer it (usually in a humorous way).

They are usually represented as kaomojis, but they are occasionally given Mona-like bodies to represent action scenes.

( ´ω`) Friends, Romans, Elitists, lend me your DQN. (・∀・) What's with the roman theme, grandpa? ( ´ω`) Junior, that was the shittiest 2get ever. (・∀・) But I've come to bury these threads, not to praise them.
