VIPPERloids are UTAU created by 2channel users (specifically those from the VIP@2ch forum). The first VIPPERloids were created to prank people into thinking they were new Vocaloid characters.
Kasane Teto (重音テト) is the most well known VIPPERloid, and probably the most well-known UTAU in general. She was originally created as an April Fool's prank, but was later developed into a UTAU (and in 2020, a Synth V).
Teto is a cheerful prankster, and her favorite food is French bread. She is rumored to be a chimera, and is sometimes drawn in fanart with wings and a tail. Lesser known facts about her are that she is scared of rats, her favorite country is Norway, and she hates the manga Detroit Metal City. She also has the power to extend DVD rentals.
Teto hates when people call her pigtails "drills", even though they are obviously drills. I mean, look at them.
Sukone Tei (健音テイ) is a yandere VIPPERloid, who was created as a parody of unoriginal fan characters.
Tei originally had an obsessive crush on Kagamine Len. She was also known to masturbate in public, and had a fetish for traffic lights. When covered in blood, her eyes would become Sharingans. Her enemies were Hatsune Miku and Hatoyama Yukio.
In 2014, Tei's creators sent an apology letter to Crypton Future Media for pretending to be an official Vocaloid. They also removed Tei's more bizarre personality traits from her official website, while retaining her yandere theme.
Tei likes baking cakes, and hates murder. ...or does she?
