Les Shadoks

Les Shadoks is a French cartoon about stupid bird-like aliens called "shadoks", and their riduculous attempts to make the planet Earth into their home. It's known for its surreal and nonsensical sense of humor.

When it was originally created, the show was heavily criticised by people who thought it was stupid and a waste of money. However, nowadays it is considered a French cult classic.

Each episode of the show is about 2-3 minutes long, and the second and third seasons are generally considered to be the funniest.

Characters:

The Shadoks

The shadoks are bird-like aliens from the planet Shadok. They want to live on Earth because their planet is constantly changing shape, and requires special upside-down shadoks to stand on the bottom and prevent it from falling apart. They are mean-spirited and unintelligent, but other characters find their antics endearing.

Their language has only 4 words: "ga", "bu," "zo" and "meu".

The Gibis

The gibis are friendly and intelligent aliens from the planet Gibi. They want to live on Earth because their planet is a flat disc, and must be perfectly balanced or else some gibis might fall off. They wear little bowler hats, which are actually the source of their intelligence, because the hats connect their brains like a hive mind.

The gibis enjoy watching the shadoks on their televisions, and love to play pranks on them with their superior technology. They are British-coded.

Gégène

Gégène is a mean insect who rules Earth. He is very small, but he can breathe fire, and eat huge chunks of Earth. The gibis are able to befriend him by playing music, but he finds the shadoks a nusiance, and will eat them.
