Okay, now that the minors are gone, we can talk about the really weird and fucked up shit.
Mind control is basically my biggest fetish, but I've also always found it really fascinating on a non-sexual level as a plot device. So it's pretty obvious that I would make a page about it on this website.
Mind control does not actually exist in real life[citation needed], but that doesn't stop people from beliving in it or trying to make it a reality. Here's some examples of things that are almost like mind control:
Hypnosis is technically a real thing that exists, but it's kind of lame. People can't be hypnotized against their will, and it only works on certian types of people. Many psychologists think it's just a fancy version of the placebo effect.
Even though it's lame, it can still be useful sometimes as a form of therapy.
MKUltra was a series of secret experiments done by the CIA during the Cold War. They tested drugs such as LSD to see if they could be used to brainwash people and get them to confess. It sounds like something from a silly conspiracy theory, but it actually happened!
Some people willingly volunteered for the experiments, such as Ken Kesey, Robert Hunter, and Allen Ginsberg. But many of the people who were tested on had no idea what was going on.
Fortunately, MKUltra was ultimately unsucessful as a brainwashing program (although it did succeed at traumatizing a whole bunch of people).
